Stan Webbs Chicken Shack

Stan Webb is recognised high in the top ten of British blues guitarists. He started Chicken Shack in 1965 and within two years they were topping the charts with I’d Rather Go Blind featuring Christine Perfect (aka McVie), later of Fleetwood Mac. Stan’s style owes much to his friend & mentor, the legendary Freddie King, who inspired Stan's delicate vibrato and sustain, & above all else his emotive blues tone.
